South Korea Set to Kill Over 5 Million Birds

By admin | April 23, 2008

In order to contain the latest outbreak of bird flu, South Korea plans to kill over 5 million birds. Since 2003, 239 people have died from the virus worldwide according to the World Health Organization. If the same amount of people died over the next 12 months, that would be 21,000 birds per human death.

Can anyone think of a better way to contain this deadly virus, say…….. education?
